Cassin Young Volunteers - Depth Charges and Rolling Rack Restoration
Work is done on the Depth Chargers and Rack
Work on the 12 depth charges for the rack are well under way. (Nov 2014)
DC's are being cleaned and stripped in Braces shack and then moved to Bldg 107 for finishing.
The rolling rack was needle gunned and primed and painted over the course of about a month. (Sept 2014)
With a lot of help the 13 depth charges were removed from the rolling rack, and moved to pier. (June 2014)
The 13th(Spare) depth charge was first to be restored.
It has since been returned to the ship and placed in its rack.
Bruce and Phil are taking the lead in restoring the depth charges and rolling rack.
